Finally there is the simplicity of it all. With natural gas fireplaces all you have to do is walk in the room and flip a switch. I think this is the main thing many people enjoy. Me on the other hand, I love building a fire each time. This is probably linked back to my childhood. It’s something I always did with my father. Therefore it has a certain nostalgic quality to it.
